The Implementation of the External Strategic Plan (RENSTRA)

On Thursday, January 30, 2025, the Faculty of Public Health, Diponegoro University (FKM Undip), hosted the implementation of the External Strategic Plan (Renstra).

The event took place in the Tutorial Room and involved Dr. Agung Pribadi, M.Kes, Msi, Med, Sp.B  from Dr. Rehatta Regional Hospital, as an external partner.

1. Purpose and Objective

The purpose of this activity was to:

  1. Enhance synergy between academics and health practitioners in the development of healthcare service strategies.
  2. Foster collaboration in implementing evidence-based health policies within hospital environments.
  3. Strengthen human resource capacity in the health sector.

2.  Participants

This event was attended by:

  1. The Chair and Secretary of the Master of Public Health (MKM) Program, FKM Undip.
  2. The Management of Dr. Rehatta Regional Hospital, represented by Dr. Agung Pribadi, M.Kes, Msi, Med, Sp.B.
  3. Faculty members and students from the Master of Public Health (MKM) Program, FKM Undip.
  4. Relevant stakeholders.

3. Event Agenda

The event proceeded as follows:

  1. Opening and remarks by Dr. Dra. Ayun Sriatmi, M.Kes.
  2. Presentation on the external strategic plan by the hospital representative.
  3. Discussion and Q&A session.
  4. Closing remarks.

4. Outcomes and Agreements

The following key points were agreed upon during the event:

  1. The hospital will play a role in the development of the Renstra as an external stakeholder, data provider, program implementation partner, and as a bridge between academics and practitioners.
  2. There is a need for strategic synergy between the Master of Public Health Program (MKM) and the hospital.
  3. The hospital will provide support in addressing challenges related to MKM graduates, including:
    • Offering internship programs.
    • Advocating with the government to consider MKM graduates.
    • Organizing digitalization training programs.
    • Serving as a mediator between MKM and stakeholders.
  4. Recommendations:
    • Establishing a structured collaboration forum.
    • Enhancing human resource capacity.
    • Advancing research initiatives.
    • Promoting digitalization by incorporating relevant courses on technology developments and their application.
