Semarang, Monday, September 18, 2023, the Master of Public Health Program at the Faculty of Public Health, Diponegoro University, conducted a guest lecturer session on the topic “Intervention and Evaluation of Maternal and Child Health Program.” The event was held online via Zoom meeting and was attended by approximately 55 participants, with an additional 500 participants joining in the D Building, Budioro Brotosaputro Hall, Faculty of Public Health, Diponegoro University. These participants included undergraduate (S1), master’s (S2), and doctoral (S3) students from the Faculty of Public Health, as well as several lecturers and participants from outside Diponegoro University. The lecture was delivered by Endang Widiastuti Handzel, MPH, and Hazna Zainul, MPH, from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, USA. The event began with an opening statement by the Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, Diponegoro University, Dr. Budiyono, SKM., M.Kes, who expressed his gratitude and welcomed Endang Widiastuti Handzel, MPH, and Hazna Zainul, MPH, for their willingness to participate as guest speakers. He hoped that the material presented would be beneficial to the participants of the visiting lecturer session. The event was then moderated by Dina Rahayuning Pangestuti, S.TP., M.Gizi, and Novia Handayani, S.K.M., M.A., M.Kes. During their lecture presentation, Endang Widiastuti Handzel, MPH, and Hazna Zainul, MPH, discussed “The Unheard Cry for Newborn Health” and “Babies Matrix At A Glance.” In the final session of the lecture, Novia Handayani, S.K.M., M.A., M.Kes, expressed her gratitude to the guest speakers for delivering highly beneficial material, which was not only valuable to the Master of Public Health Program students but also to other faculty members and students.
