Universitas Diponegoro graduates 2,082 individuals in the 170th Undip Graduation Ceremony, held in eight stages from May 22nd to May 25th, 2023, at Prof. Soedarto, S.H. Building, Undip Tembalang Campus (22/5).

In his report, Prof. Faisal, S.E., M.Si., Ph.D., Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, announced that the graduation ceremony was attended by a total of 2,082 graduates, including 32 doctoral candidates, 266 master’s degree recipients, 60 specialists, 113 professional degree holders, 1,534 bachelor’s degree recipients, 66 applied bachelor’s degree holders, and 11 diploma recipients.

“As part of our efforts to maintain synergy between Undip and its alumni, we encourage cooperation from our alumni to provide feedback through the Undip tracer study at https://tracerstudy.undip.ac.id.

“We hope that all graduates will continue to succeed in their careers and serve as exemplary figures in society. We are truly proud of the academic achievements of our graduates,” expressed Prof. Faizal.

During the event, Undip Rector Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama S.H., M.Hum., stated that Undip has achieved various accolades, including being ranked 1st nationally for the fastest employability of its alumni based on the QS Ranking for Employability 2021-2022; 2nd nationally and 30th globally in sustainable university rankings based on the UI Greenmetric 2020, 2021, 2022; 2nd nationally in the Best PTNBH 2021 ranking and in the top 5 for Best PTNBH 2022; top 8 national rank for World University Rankings 2023 according to QS WUR; one of the top 5 most favored universities for five consecutive years; over 20 internationally accredited programs by ABEST, FIBAA, ASIIN; and 22 programs ranked 1st to 3rd nationally.

“Take pride in successfully completing your studies at Undip, one of the best universities in Indonesia with outstanding achievements,” said Prof. Yos.

Furthermore, he emphasized that holding an academic degree carries the responsibility to develop that knowledge to the highest level and apply it for the greater good.

“Knowledge becomes a blessing when practiced for the betterment of society. Therefore, it is our duty to apply the knowledge we possess for the benefit of the nation’s development, well-being, and humanity,” concluded the Rector.
