SEMARANG – On Tuesday, October 20, 2022, the Master of Public Health Study Program at FKM UNDIP conducted a thesis monitoring and evaluation session for the 2021 cohort. The event was held online via Microsoft Teams and attended by 37 students from the 2021 batch who had not yet graduated.
The purpose of this monitoring and evaluation activity was to enable the study program administrators to track the progress of each student’s thesis and take necessary actions accordingly. Additionally, this initiative serves as one of the strategies to reduce the average graduation time within the study program.
The event began with an opening speech by Dr. Dra. Chriswardani Suryawati, M.Kes., Head of the Master of Public Health Study Program at Diponegoro University. This was followed by individual interviews with students to discuss their thesis progress and any challenges they were facing. The Head of the Study Program then provided advice and solutions to help students overcome their difficulties.
At the end of the session, the Head of the Study Program expressed hope that students would complete their theses promptly, ultimately contributing to a shorter average graduation time within the program.
