Students of the Master of Public Health Program, Faculty of Public Health, Diponegoro University (MKM FKM UNDIP), Regular Class of the 2024 Odd Semester, conducted a Mental Health and Balanced Nutrition Education session for adolescents in the working area of SMP N 39 Semarang. The event took place in the school’s auditorium on Wednesday (06/11).

Rr. Gita Febri Irianti, as the head of the organizing committee, expressed gratitude to her fellow classmates, the management of the Master of Public Health Program at Diponegoro University, the faculty of SMP N 39 Semarang, and the ninth-grade students who participated in the event.

The opening remarks were delivered by Dr. Dra. Ayun Sriatmi, M.Kes, Head of the MKM FKM UNDIP Program. She expressed hope that this community service initiative by the students would enhance public knowledge and awareness regarding mental health and balanced nutrition among adolescents.

Rini Wulandari, S.Pd, representing SMP N 39 Semarang, conveyed her appreciation for the successful implementation of this educational session. She emphasized that such activities are highly beneficial for ninth-grade students and also serve as a promotional effort for the school.

The event was attended by 245 students and supported by 24 MKM FKM UNDIP students. Activities included mental health and balanced nutrition counseling for adolescents, a Q&A session with ice-breaking activities, quizzes, and door prizes.
