To support the achievement of the Key Performance Indicators (IKU-PTNBH) at Diponegoro University, particularly in establishing partnerships with healthcare institutions to strengthen the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, the Master of Public Health (MKM) Program at the Faculty of Public Health (FKM) Undip explored potential collaboration with KRMT Wongsonegoro General Hospital (RSWN) Semarang.
This initiative was carried out through a visit by the MKM Program management team to RSWN on December 27, 2022. During the visit, they were welcomed by the Director of RSWN Semarang, Dr. Susi Herawati, M.Kes., the Head of Medical and Allied Health Services, Dr. Roosmalia Isdiani, MKM, and the Head of Planning and Information, Yunita Yudaningsih, SKM, M.Kes. All three are alumni of the Master of Public Health Sciences program (previously named Magister Ilmu Kesehatan Masyarakat).
During the meeting, the MKM management team proposed various forms of collaboration in education, research, and community service involving students, lecturers, and hospital staff. This proposal was well received by RSWN, with the hospital’s director expressing strong support. She emphasized that RSWN, as a teaching hospital, is highly suitable for such a partnership.
At the end of the meeting, both parties agreed to take follow-up actions to formalize the collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
