Semarang – Friday, 09/06/2023. The Master’s Program in Public Health, Faculty of Public Health, Diponegoro University, organized a guest lecture with the topic “Recent Developments in National Health Insurance and Its Comparison with Several Countries.” The event took place offline in the Budioro Hall, Building D, 1st Floor, Faculty of Public Health Campus, and was attended by approximately 300 participants, including undergraduate and graduate students from the Faculty of Public Health, as well as some faculty members and participants from outside Diponegoro University. The lecture was delivered by Prof. Dr. Ali Ghufron Mukti, M.Sc., Ph.D., AKK, who is the CEO of BPJS Kesehatan (Indonesia’s National Health Insurance).
The event began with an opening speech by the Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, Dr. Budiyono, S.KM., M.Kes. He expressed his gratitude and welcomed Prof. Dr. Ali Ghufron Mukti, M.Sc., Ph.D., AKK, as the guest speaker, and hoped that the presented material would be beneficial to the participants of the guest lecture. Dr. Dra. Chriswardani Suryawati, M.Kes, served as the moderator and invited Prof. Ali Ghufron to deliver the guest lecture. In his presentation, Prof. Ali Ghufron discussed topics such as the JKN Program in the National Medium-Term Development Plan, Quality Enhancement of JKN Services in the National Medium-Term Development Plan 2020-2024, Stakeholder Collaboration Schemes, Universal Health Coverage Comparison between Countries, and Current Challenges in the Implementation of Social Security. The lecture concluded with closing remarks from Dr. Chriswardani, expressing gratitude to the speaker for delivering highly valuable material that benefited not only the students of the Master’s Program in Public Health but also the faculty members and other students.
