SEMARANG – On Wednesday, November 16, 2022, the Master of Public Health Program at FKM UNDIP held a guest lecture on the topic “Elderly: Health Impacts and Family Economic Readiness.” The event was conducted online via Zoom and attended by approximately 70 participants, including undergraduate, doctoral, and master’s students from FKM, several FKM UNDIP lecturers, and participants from outside UNDIP.
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Abdillah Ahsan, SE, MM from the Directorate of Human Resources, Universitas Indonesia.
The event began with an opening speech by Dr. Chriswardani Suryawati, SKM, M.Kes, Head of the Master of Public Health Program at FKM UNDIP. She expressed her gratitude and warmly welcomed Dr. Abdillah as the guest speaker. She also hoped that the lecture would be beneficial for all participants attending the alumni teaching session.
During his presentation, Dr. Abdillah discussed aging issues in Indonesia, elderly healthcare services, and the overall condition of the elderly population in the country.
The lecture concluded with closing remarks from Dr. Chriswardani Suryawati, SKM, M.Kes, who extended her appreciation to the speaker. She emphasized that the insights shared were highly valuable not only for master’s students in the Public Health Program but also for other students and faculty members.
