On Monday, April 17, 2023, a coordination meeting was held regarding the capacity and admission promotion for new students for the academic year 2023/2024 in the Master’s Program in Public Health, Faculty of Public Health, Diponegoro University. Fortunately, for this new academic year, the program received a sufficient capacity compared to the previous year, which is 110 students, as stated in the Rector’s Decree No. 155/UN7.A/HK/II/2023. In the first wave of admissions, there were quite a number of prospective students interested in the program, as evidenced by the selection of candidates for each concentration. However, upon the announcement of the selected candidates in the first wave, it was found that there were still a few concentrations with low interest, namely, Health Management Information Systems with only two applicants, Nutrition in Public Health with only two applicants, and Maternal and Child Health with only one applicant.

This prompted the program management to take immediate steps to increase the number of applicants for the concentrations mentioned above by maximizing promotion efforts to stakeholders and undergraduate graduates in the Central Java region. One of the steps taken was to create a special leaflet for each concentration and send it along with a letter to all Civil Service Board (BKD), stakeholders, and alumni, and also to utilize social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.
