Virtual Field Lecture – “Alumni Teaching: Business Strategy for Comprehensive Pulmonary Service Development at RSPAW Salatiga”

The Master of Public Health Program at the Faculty of Public Health, Diponegoro University (FKM UNDIP), held a Virtual Field Lecture on the topic “Alumni Teaching: Business Strategy for Comprehensive Pulmonary Service Development at RSPAW Salatiga.” This online event was conducted via Zoom and attended by approximately 80 participants, including Master’s students in Public Health, undergraduate students from FKM, several lecturers from FKM UNDIP, and external participants. The session was presented by Dr. Farida Widayati, M.Kes from Dr. Ario Wirawan Pulmonary Hospital (RSPAW) Salatiga.
The event began with an opening speech by Dr. Dra. Chriswardani Suryawati, M.Kes, Head of the Master of Public Health Program at FKM UNDIP. She expressed her gratitude and welcomed Dr. Farida Widayati, M.Kes, as the guest speaker. She also hoped that the lecture would be beneficial for all participants attending the virtual field lecture.
During the session, Dr. Agung presented an overview of Dr. Ario Wirawan Pulmonary Hospital (RSPAW) Salatiga. He also discussed business strategies for hospital development, particularly in responding to COVID-19 and tuberculosis (TB). At the end of the lecture, a discussion and Q&A session took place. One of the participants raised a question regarding RSPAW’s efforts to increase the TB Case Notification Rate (CNR), particularly in Central Java, and whether the Global Fund plays a role in RSPAW’s operational services.
