On Thursday, April 13th, 2023, at The Wujil Resort & Conventions, Dr. Sutopo, a lecturer of the MKM program and also representing the Institute for Research and Community Services (LPPM) of Diponegoro University, was involved in the coordination committee of the Maternal and Perinatal Death Surveillance and Response (MPDSR) in Central Java Province.The activity was carried out to accelerate the reduction of maternal and perinatal mortality rates in Central Java Province through the Provincial Health Office. The meeting was attended by 29 participants, consisting of representatives from various programs, professional organizations, public health centers, and universities. During the activity, Dr. Sutopo served as a member of the committee representing the university institution. Some of the topics discussed in the activity were the concept and implementation of MPDSR, the utilization of MPDSR data in the province, and the formation of the MPDSR committee. It is expected that universities will be involved in providing analysis and benefiting from the MPDSR activities.
