SEMARANG – On Saturday, June 9, 2020, the Master of Public Health Program at the Faculty of Public Health, Diponegoro University (FKM UNDIP), held its 21st Anniversary event with the theme “Two-Month Reflection on COVID-19 Response – Experiences from Three Hospitals in Semarang.” The event was conducted online via Zoom Meeting and was attended by approximately 104 participants, including undergraduate, doctoral, and postgraduate students from FKM UNDIP, several faculty members, and participants from outside the university. The speakers included hospital directors from Semarang, the Chair of PAP IAKMI, and the Chair of PIPMARSI.
The event began with an opening speech by the Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, Dr. Budiyono, SKM, M.Kes. He expressed his gratitude and welcomed the speakers for their willingness to share their insights. He also hoped that the discussions would be beneficial for all webinar participants. The event was moderated by Dr. Dra. Chriswardani Suryawati, M.Kes, the Head of the Master of Public Health Program at FKM UNDIP.
The first presentation was delivered by Dr. Agus Suryanto, SpPD-MARS, MH, titled “Review of COVID-19 Services at RSUP Dr. Kariadi.” The second session featured Dr. Susi Herawati, M.Kes, who presented “COVID-19 Service Management.” The third presentation was given by Dr. E. Nindyawan Waluyo Adi, SpB, MKes, discussing “Three-Month Reflection on COVID-19 Response.” The final presentation was delivered by Dr. Ede Surya Darmawan, SKM, MDM, on “The Urgency of Strengthening Hospital Services in Pandemic Management.”
At the end of the session, Dr. Chriswardani expressed her gratitude to the speakers, emphasizing that the insights shared were highly valuable not only for Master of Public Health students but also for faculty members and students from other programs.
