This expert guest lecture focused on the topic “Reflections on Seven Years of the National Health Insurance (JKN)”. The event aimed to provide up-to-date information on the development and implementation of the JKN policy, which has been in effect since January 1, 2014. It covered achievements, opportunities, and ongoing challenges, particularly regarding the performance of BPJS Kesehatan, the main driving force behind JKN. The speaker presented data and facts related to key issues such as BPJS Kesehatan’s deficit, JKN premium increases, and fundamental problems that remain unresolved within the system.

This lecture was conducted virtually via Zoom Meeting and was attended by students from the Master of Public Health Program (MKM) batches 2021, 2020, and 2019, as well as undergraduate students from the Public Health Program (S1 Kesmas).
