SEMARANG – Tuesday, October 12, 2022 – The Master of Public Health Program at the Faculty of Public Health, Diponegoro University (FKM UNDIP), held a guest lecture on the topic “Health System Resilience: Concept, Challenges & Opportunities.” The event was conducted online via Zoom and was attended by approximately 103 participants, including undergraduate and doctoral students from FKM UNDIP, several faculty members, and participants from outside UNDIP.
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Ede Surya Darmawan, S.KM., M.DM, from the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia. The event began with an opening speech by Dr. Dra. Chriswardani Suryawati, M.Kes., Head of the Master of Public Health Program at FKM UNDIP. She welcomed and expressed gratitude to Dr. Ede Surya Darmawan for his willingness to be the guest speaker. She also expressed her hope that the lecture would be beneficial for all participants.
During his presentation, Dr. Ede discussed several key topics, including Revisiting Public Health, Health Systems & Resilience, the COVID-19 Pandemic & Health System Resilience, and Future Recommendations for Health System Transformation.
The session concluded with closing remarks from Dr. Dra. Chriswardani Suryawati, M.Kes., who once again thanked the speaker. She emphasized that the insights shared were highly valuable, not only for students in the Master of Public Health Program but also for faculty members and other students.
