SEMARANG – On Tuesday, October 18, 2022, the Master of Public Health Program at the Faculty of Public Health, Diponegoro University (FKM UNDIP), conducted a thesis monitoring and evaluation (M&E) session for the 2020 cohort. The event was held online via Microsoft Teams and was attended by 16 students from the 2019 cohort who had not yet graduated.

The purpose of this M&E session was to allow the program administrators to track the progress of each student’s thesis, enabling them to take appropriate measures when necessary. Additionally, this initiative serves as one of the program’s strategies to reduce the average graduation time for students.

The session began with an opening speech by Dr. Dra. Chriswardani Suryawati, M.Kes., Head of the Master of Public Health Program at FKM UNDIP. This was followed by individual interviews with students to discuss their thesis progress and any challenges they were facing. The program head then provided guidance and solutions to help students overcome their difficulties.

At the end of the session, the program head expressed hope that students would be able to complete their theses promptly, ultimately contributing to a shorter average graduation time for the program.
