SEMARANG – On Wednesday, October 25, 2022, the Master of Public Health Study Program at FKM UNDIP conducted a thesis monitoring and evaluation (M&E) session for the 2020 cohort. The event was held online via Microsoft Teams and was attended by eight students from the 2019 cohort who had not yet graduated.
The purpose of this M&E session was to track the progress of each student’s thesis, allowing the study program administrators to take necessary actions to support the students. Additionally, this initiative serves as a strategy to reduce the average graduation time in the program.
The event began with an opening speech by Dr. Dra. Chriswardani Suryawati, M.Kes., Head of the Master of Public Health Study Program at Diponegoro University. This was followed by individual interviews with each student to discuss their thesis progress and any challenges they were facing. The Head of the Study Program then provided advice and solutions to help students overcome these obstacles.
At the end of the session, the Head of the Study Program expressed hope that students would complete their theses promptly, contributing to a shorter average graduation time within the program.
