SEMARANG – On Tuesday, January 4, 2023, the Master of Public Health Program at the Faculty of Public Health, Diponegoro University (FKM UNDIP), conducted a monitoring and evaluation session for students from the 2019 and 2020 cohorts. The event was held online via Microsoft Teams and was attended by 14 students from the 2019 cohort and 25 students from the 2020 cohort who had not yet graduated.
The purpose of this monitoring and evaluation session was to assess the progress of each student’s thesis, enabling the program administrators to take appropriate actions based on individual student needs. Additionally, this initiative serves as one of the program’s strategies to reduce the average graduation time of its students.
The event began with an opening speech by Dr. Dra. Ayun Sriatmi, M.Kes., Head of the Master of Public Health Program at FKM UNDIP. It was followed by individual interviews with students regarding their thesis progress and the challenges they were facing. The Head of the Program then provided advice and solutions to help students overcome these challenges.
At the end of the session, the Head of the Program expressed hope that students would be able to complete their theses promptly, thereby contributing to a shorter average graduation time for the program.
