SEMARANG – Monday, 09/01/2023 – The Master of Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Public Health, Diponegoro University (FKM UNDIP), conducted a thesis monitoring and evaluation (M&E) session for students of the 2021 cohort. The event was held online via Microsoft Teams and attended by 39 students from the 2021 cohort who had not yet graduated.

The primary objective of this M&E session was to allow the program management to track the progress of each student’s thesis. By doing so, the program could take necessary actions to support students in completing their research. Additionally, this initiative was part of the program’s strategy to reduce the average graduation time for students.

The event began with an opening speech by the Head of the Master of Public Health Study Program, Dr. Dra. Ayun Sriatmi, M.Kes. This was followed by individual interviews with students to discuss their thesis progress and any challenges they were facing. The Head of the Program then provided advice and solutions to address these challenges.

At the end of the session, the Head of the Program expressed hope that students would be able to complete their theses promptly, thereby contributing to a shorter average graduation time within the program.
