Pekalongan – Saturday (11/05). Students from the Master of Public Health Program, Faculty of Public Health, Diponegoro University (MKM FKM UNDIP), in collaboration with Kajen Regional General Hospital (RSUD Kajen), conducted a screening and health education session on diabetes, hypertension, and reproductive health for Prolanis patients at RSUD Kajen’s service area. The event took place in the hospital’s auditorium.

Dr. Agus Riyanto, Sp.PK, as the head of the organizing committee, expressed his gratitude to his fellow students, the management of the Master of Public Health Program at Diponegoro University, RSUD Kajen, and the Prolanis patients who attended the session.

Following this, Dr. Dra. Ayun Sriatmi, M.Kes, the Head of the MKM FKM UNDIP Program, delivered her remarks, stating that this student-led community service initiative aims to enhance public knowledge and awareness of non-communicable diseases, particularly diabetes, hypertension, and reproductive health among the elderly.

Dr. Imam Prasetyo, M.Kes, the Director of RSUD Kajen, expressed his appreciation for the implementation of the screening and health education activities at RSUD Kajen. He emphasized that this initiative not only benefits Prolanis patients but also serves as an important health promotion effort for the hospital.

Additionally, Setiawan Dwi Antoro, SKM, M.Kes, the Head of the Pekalongan District Health Office, also extended his gratitude to the MKM FKM UNDIP students for their dedication in providing screening and health education on diabetes, hypertension, and reproductive health to the local community.

The event was attended by 50 participants and supported by 10 students. Several activities were conducted, including:
✅ Prolanis Exercise Session
✅ Health Education Sessions on hypertension and diabetes prevention, elderly reproductive health, and nutrition
✅ Consultation Sessions with specialist doctors in obstetrics & gynecology, surgery, and bone health

This initiative reflects UNDIP students’ commitment to public health education and their contribution to improving the health and well-being of Prolanis patients in RSUD Kajen’s service area.
