Semarang – Thursday, September 12, 2023. The Master’s Program in Public Health at the Faculty of Public Health, Diponegoro University, organized a guest lecture with the topic “Strategies to Increase the Use of Digital Health in Health Care Facilities.” The event was conducted online through a Zoom meeting and was attended by approximately 120 participants. Fifty of them participated in Room D.202, Building D, 2nd floor, Faculty of Public Health, Diponegoro University, consisting of undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students from the Faculty of Public Health, as well as some faculty members and participants from outside Diponegoro University. The lecture was delivered by Assoc. Prof. Usman Iqbal, PharmD, MBA, Ph.D., FAIDH, from the University of New South Wales. The event commenced with an opening statement by the Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, Diponegoro University, Dr. Budiyono, SKM, M.Kes, who expressed his gratitude and welcomed Assoc. Prof. Usman Iqbal, PharmD, MBA, Ph.D., FAIDH, as the guest speaker. He hoped that the material presented would be beneficial to the participants of the visiting lecturer lecture. The event was then moderated by Dion Zein Nuridzin, SKM, MKM.
During his lecture, Assoc. Prof. Usman Iqbal discussed “The Digital Health Landscape,” “Benefits of Digital Health,” “Barriers to Adoption,” “Key Strategies,” “Success Stories,” “Challenges and Solutions,” and “Future Trends.” In the closing session of the lecture, Dr. Cahya Tri Purnami, SK, M.Kes, the Secretary of the Master’s Program in Public Health, expressed her gratitude to the guest speaker for delivering highly valuable content that benefited not only the students of the Master’s Program in Public Health but also other faculty members and students.
